Sixteenth Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • Jul. 21st, 2009 at 4:15 PM
You have no idea.
Hm.

I'm quickly tiring of these games. Is it difficult to make up your minds?

Fifteenth Meeting [Video; Japanese Audio]

  • Jun. 30th, 2009 at 3:02 AM
Glare.
[There's a loud buzzing sound - Kyouya's been shocked by his communicator. After a moment, Kyouya can be seen on-screen. His glasses are nowhere to be seen, and he's visibly groggy. It's obvious that they're narrowing angrily on the communicator.]

Is this your idea of a kindergarten-level prank, scientists? To wake me up after being up for practically two days? Just after I fall asleep?

I hardly find this funny.

I'm going back to sleep.

[Without even a second thought, the feed is turned off.]

[[I'll tag in the morning -- but this is the only appropriate time to make a post like thise. whoooops.]]

Fourteenth Meeting [Text]

  • Jun. 9th, 2009 at 10:18 PM
Hm.
Private; extremely difficult to hack )

Always a curious city, Planet Poverty. There's little more that can be said in regards to that.

Tamaki, I'd like to have a word with you on some business matters, when you're not busy.

And of course, best birthday wishes to Kaoru and Hikaru. If my information is correct, that would make you two just as old as Hunny-senpai and Mori-senpai, no? Too bad you've missed a year of schooling here - I suppose it'll be a while before we call you Kaoru-senpai and Hikaru-senpai.

Thirteenth Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • May. 25th, 2009 at 12:28 PM
Is that so?
I suppose you scientists think you're funny, don't you? I'm sure you were well aware of my distate for this pauper's hellhole, and yet after very little time, you've decided to bring me back.

I suppose it would be best to get a few things in order before much else. For those of you who remember my last encounter in this city, precisely how long has it been since I was last here? It doesn't appear to have been very long, but the aridity of this city could be quite deceiving.

I'd presume the apartment I was in last has been filled by now. I suppose I'll have to take a look for a new, quiet place to stay in the meantime.

Kaoru, Hikaru - are the two of you still here?

Twelfth Meeting [Text]

  • Mar. 24th, 2009 at 12:23 PM
Not the same.
Hm.

So it appears Tamaki has now been taken from this pauper's hellhole as well. I'd suspect otherwise, had it not been for the fact that I've grown accustomed to him waking me up in the morning. Though admittedly, this is likely the best I've slept since arriving here.

Scientists, did you not like the Host Club? You did quite a nice a nice job of taking the majority of us away in such a short period of time.

Kaoru, Hikaru, it's just us now. I suppose we'll have to put future endeavors on hold for the time being. I hardly think the Host Club will flourish without Tamaki.

Eleventh Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • Mar. 8th, 2009 at 6:07 PM
Go away Dad.
[The feed comes on, and the sound of disgruntled muttering can be heard.]

This is ridiculous.

[There's a pause, because he begins to read something. There's very little enthusiasm in his voice as he blankly reads the speech.]

I, Kyouya Ootori, why am I reading this again....? of Discedo's most prestigious Host Club, wish to ask the citizens of the city to alert me to the whereabouts of one, Himawari Kunogi. Because Tamaki is completely incapable of doing so himself.

T-that's not it at all!

First and foremost, the Host Club is a place where we, the hosts, cater to the well-being of our cherished customers and friends, and miss Himawari has been nothing less than an important contributor. The absence of such a kind, generous flower of a lady has not gone unnoticed and, indeed, has caused quite a stir of concern! I implore you, the commoners of Discedo, to keep a watchful eye out for her, for if she has not been fortunate enough to return to her home, her well-being would be of some concern. Couldn't you have just done this yourself then? Really, Tamaki...

K-Kyouya! Just read the announcement!

I also wish to announce that the Host Club will once again resume events soon, thanks to the resounding success of our previous endeavor! Yes, and it's all thanks to you, the people of Discedo, for providing such an open and willing mind and heart, for gracing our doorstep with your unfailing courage and optimism. The Host Club thanks you! Your honorable hearts inspire and bring a tear to my eye! The Host Club, now and always, welcome even the commonest of commoners into our humble room.

[There's another pause.]

Tamaki, can please tell me what your reasoning is for making me do this? I really have no interest in feigning such enthusiasm right now.

Feigning--
Kyouya the enthusiasm we feel for our cause is very real! Reach deep inside and find your passion!

I'm not denying that, however -- would you just answer my question? You have your own device to make announcements with.

............... [And another long pause.]

You misplaced it.

I-- ..........I--

Let's go look for it now so it doesn't happen again.

......... I've been looking.

[There's a loud sigh as he watches Tamaki die in his corner of woe.] It has to be somewhere, let's just--

[The feed abruptly times out around here.]

[Blue text is Tamaki, who misplaced his communicator orz]

Tenth Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • Feb. 25th, 2009 at 9:07 PM
A thought.
It's funny, the ways of the commoners.

You'll spend your days being so cut throat, attacking and even killing one another. But the moment you need to for the sake of saving your own skin, you're ready and willing to partner up with those you loathe.

Perhaps in some ways, the commoners of Planet Poverty are very much like the CEOs of Tokyo.

An interesting thought, wouldn't you say?

Hm. I wonder if I'll get good use of this lead pipe. I'm certainly no expert at these things in the way Hunny-senpai and Mori-senpai are, that's for certain.

Ninth Meeting [Text]

  • Feb. 18th, 2009 at 12:52 AM
Welcome!
It's quite a pleasure to see that the efforts of the Host Club haven't gone unnoticed. I personally thank each of you who came down to our first event. I'll leave the detail to Tamaki, but I can assure this was only the beginning. Future events will certainly be larger and more lavish.

This would be far easier to keep track of with my laptop. Upcoming events are going to be more difficult to plan with such a small notebook.

I hadn't thought of opening our doors to the common folk prior to our arrival on Planet Poverty, however, it seemed to work out better than planned. A good thing to note for the future.

Private to self; Difficult to hack )

Eighth Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • Feb. 13th, 2009 at 4:41 PM
What the fuck.
Host Club, I implore that we cancel all future events. This pauper's hellhole has no place for such refinement - it's useless and--

....

What.

I've been paying attention to the network. There's.

Tch.

...

...

I love this refine--

[The feed promptly shuts off.]

Seventh Meeting [Text]

  • Feb. 9th, 2009 at 11:20 PM
Hm.
Host Club, I'd say it's essential we have everything completely ready by Saturday. We'd be terrible hosts if we weren't properly prepared for Valentine's day.

Sixth Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • Feb. 3rd, 2009 at 8:44 PM
Evil.
[His voice is groggy... and very angry.]

Filthy commoner.

If I find you, it's over.

Appalling, classless creature.

Fifth Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • Jan. 28th, 2009 at 1:40 AM
What the fuck.
[BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!]

...Ah!

So this PDA has a temper if you aim to ignore the constant buzzing and distracting noise. Unlike a normal cell phone, you can't shut this off. I'm going to presume it's for the reason of sending shockwaves when we get quiet.

Honestly, I'm impressed. Given the aridity of this city as a whole, the technology in this device exceeds expectations of anything else you'd expect.

A whole city run like this has a chance of being prosperous... and livable. Though it's a shame it's wasting on irritating those who are more focused on keeping themselves in good health when the air is being infected with noxious gases.

Locked to the Host Club; Unhackable )

Fourth Meeting [Voice]

  • Jan. 14th, 2009 at 2:06 AM
I'll kill you.
Whichever of you thought it was a good idea to cause an explosion at two in the morning really ought to learn an ounce of respect. This is much more irritating than the beeping.

I can't even get a decent night's rest in this pauper's hellhole.

Third Meeting [Text]

  • Dec. 31st, 2008 at 9:59 PM
A thought.
So I wonder, residents of this indigent planet: Is it boredom that drives you to such low levels of so-called "crime?" Is it murder when there is no law? Is it theft when you are without proof of ownership?

Such a subjective city.

But I think we can make this work.

The constant loop of "Auld Lang Syne" is appropriate for the day, I suppose. Irritating as it may be.

Host Club, I do hope you've found someone to accompany you at midnight. We'd be terrible hosts if we did otherwise.

...Ace, was it? I believe that is the one Tamaki spoke to recently. I'd like to have a word with you, if you don't mind. I think I have an idea that could be beneficial to us both.

Second Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • Dec. 8th, 2008 at 12:41 AM
I don't think so.
And so it seems that since my arrival on this desolate and repulsive rock, the remainder of the Host Club has arrived. This leaves me with a few matters to discuss with you.

First off, Tamaki, while I'm sure you're enjoying this mistletoe situation, there's work to be done. And in order for it to be done, you have to be here. I'm staying in the Latimir building, room 304. It's just down the hall from the rest of the Host Club. I should have chosen a different floor, this headache is going to be permanent. You should make your way here.

Then the decision must be made; should the activities of the Host Club resume so long as we're forced to live in this slum? The other question that follows this is where to set up shop. I've been having a look around, and there are a few places that could suffice for our needs.

Looking further down from that is the following:

○ With the holiday season fast approaching in this city, are we to hold an event? Our resources are few, but I'm positive we could make something work.
○ Payment. With no currency, there's clearly no money in offering our services. We need to agree on an ideal and profitable form of payment that would benefit the Host Club as a whole.

Why I'm asking, I don't know. It's not as if they'll prove much that's useful.

First Meeting [Voice; Japanese]

  • Dec. 2nd, 2008 at 10:05 PM
Watching you.
I told them to wake me up when we arrived back in Japan, not drop me off in some poverty ridden slum with some cheaply modeled PDA while I was asleep. My phone would have sufficed just fine.

I'm left to wonder where exactly I have been left though. This PDA is making all kinds of noise, and I don't particulary care to hear the goings on of the commoners. Though I'm not sure "commoners" would be the appropriate word to describe this location. Even Haruhi's meager home is a palace in comparison to this place.

Hm. I suppose that does mean one thing.

Where there are commoners, there is the foolish curiosity of the Host Club. I'm sure Tamaki is already scouring the area for ... something. It doesn't seem as if there are any luxuries in sight.

Host Club. We are to have a meeting immediately and discuss the current circumstances.

Oh, and Haruhi? Presuming you can hear this, don't think that this situation will change much. Your debts are still to be paid, and even here, we will find a way to make this profitable
